Financial Energetics
Please note that we don't use a payment processor. You'll need to log into your preferred payment platform and send your camp dues directly. We prefer payment via Zelle to [email protected], or by Venmo to @campcontact (last four of phone: 5555). Both options work well and avoid processing fees. If you're using PayPal, please ensure you send it as Friends and Family to [email protected].
The listed dues are on a sliding scale. Please choose the amount within the listed range that best reflects the financial contribution you'd like to make to the camp. Thank you for your generosity.
Dues are fully refundable until May 31, with no administrative fee.
Dues are refundable up until July 31. Dues are refundable less a $75 administrative fee.*
If you cancel between August 1 and August 15, 50% of your dues are refundable.*
After August 15th, dues are not typically refundable, except for special circumstances.*
* We work together as a group to ensure everyone gets a ticket who wants to camp with us. In the weird case someone can't obtain a Burning Man ticket, and has generally followed suggestions for doing so, their dues are fully refundable if we can't find a ticket for them by the Friday before Build week starts (August 21, 2026).
If your application is not accepted and you've already paid your dues, you'll receive a full refund.
Please make individual payments for each item you're paying for. If you're paying for two people to come, please send in separate payments for each of them. Or, if you're paying for a ticket and for dues, please send funds for the ticket and for the dues in separate payments. Thanks!

Hexayurt – Includes Air Conditioning and Power, assistance with assembly required, tape, tarps, flooring, straps, $975
Air Conditioning Unit rental with Power – $450 - works well with Shift Pods and some tents or vehicles
Power $50 per peak running Amp for RVs
Tent - $75 for one person, $120 for two, $50 each additional person
Mattress Single - $75 - Full: $125
Dues cover the costs associated with providing:
- Shade for tent campers in our Himalayas Aluminet structure
- Chill dome with cool air provided by a massive swamp cooler
- Meal plan with prepared lunch & dinners. Breakfast & snack - prepare your own. Power for phone charging, ebike charging, lighting, cooling, cooking, etc
- Showers with water provided and greywater disposed of
- Drinking Water, Cooking Water, Shower Water, Dishwashing water
- Coffee, Tea, Sweetened, and Unsweetened electrolytes.
- Fridge space for your own food if you're bringing some
- Tools & Burner Supplies (Zip Ties, Duct Tape, etc)
- Lighting and Decor, Signage, Event Schedules, etc.
- Steam Bath (not 100% confirmed, but we'd love to get this going again at Burning Man this year)
- Propane for cooking & heating the steam bath
- Tools/parts/supplies
- Delivery of Moving Van Trailers to and from the Playa to Gerlach.
Two Pod Crew prepared meals a day (Lunch & Dinner) plus food for making your own breakfasts, midnight snacks, and sandwiches, etc to go
- Internet provided via Satellite (please use judiciously)
- Bike Repair Station with supplies
- Dance Space
- Workshop Dome
- Sound System in the Dance area and the dome
- First Aid Kit, supplies
Other overhead expenses over the year:
- LLC Registration & Filing
- Gear Storage for two moving vans and our 14' chill trailer in Gerlach, NV and other T railers in Virginia
- Travel/Transport from DC and Back for expensive gear that doesn't stay on Playa
- Website hosting and management
- Insurance
- Vehicle and Trailer maintenance, Infrastructure repair and upgrades (we sustained $6,000 worth of damage from 2025 Storms)
